DIFFA Gift Bags – Susan’s Soaps Is There!
We are excited to announce that Susan’s Soaps & More is one of the participants for the gift bags for this year’s DIFFA 2010 Benefit Gala.
DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) is one of the country’s largest supporters of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventive education for those at risk. Merging care and commerce, supporters of DIFFA come from all fields of fine design and the visual arts, including: architecture, fashion design, interior design, photography and consumer product design.
With fundraising efforts bolstered by strategic partnerships and unique events showcasing innovation and creativity, DIFFA has mobilized the immense resources of the design communities and granted over $38 million to hundreds of AIDS service organizations nationwide.
Since being founded in 1984 by Patricia Green and Larry Pond, DIFFA has granted funds to organizations which fight AIDS by providing:
- preventive education programs targeted to populations at risk of infection
- treatment and direct-care services for people living with HIV/AIDS
- public policy initiatives which add resources to private sector efforts
Dallas is one of 8 major cities that host chapters of the DIFFA organization. As part of it’s fund raising activities this year, the Dallas chapter is holding a Benefit Gala at the new Winspear Opera House which will be hosted by superstar Queen Latifah. Each of the guests in the top tier of seating will receive a “Best Little Gift Bag in Texas”. This is where Susan’s Soaps comes in. We have donated a full bar of our all natural, handcrafted soap along with a sample of another scent and a coupon that can be used on a future purchase. Everything was beautifully packaged in organza bags ready to pop into the recipient’s gift bag. The event is happening Wednesday, March 3, 2010.

I just LOVE your soaps! That smell awesome. They don’t get gooey or mushy lasting a very long time. I found them by chance at our local Ace Hardware!
