Today we visited the Vizcaya House, located in the Coconut Grove area of Miami. It was built by James Deering or International Harvester fame and fortune. We decided to take on Miami’s public transportation to get there which ended up being a bit of an experience. On the plus side we met a very nice girl from Moscow, who is here in the USA and planning on studying engineering. On the minus side they were apparently working on part of the track on so we ended up having to go north only to turn around later and go south like we needed to. On the return trip we didn’t have to backtrack but we did have to listen a very loud abusive argument and Jerry was cursed at when he asked a question of someone, trying to make sure we were on the correct train. I guess like any traveling experience there is the good and bad. Once we got there, the Vizcaya House and Gardens were fascinating and beautiful. Tomorrow we leave Miami and head down to Key West.
