Q. Do you guarantee your products or services?
A. Yes, we offer a 21 day 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our products as long as you return the product with the original packaging materials. You can mail it back to us at Susan’s Soaps & More, PO Box 189, Scurry, Texas, 75158. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at 972-452-8965 or by Email.
Q. What shipping methods do you offer?
A. We ship our products via USPS Priority Mail to help protect them from heat and other issues during shipping. If you are a Retail customer and have an order totaling over $75.00 you will have an option for free shipping. Please select that option so as not to be charged for shipping. Your order will generally be shipped via Priority Mail but if very large may be shipped via UPS.
Q. What method of payments do you accept?
A. We accept credit cards (American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa) and PayPal. You can either enter your credit card number online or call us at 972-452-8965 with the information.
Q. How fast will my order ship?
A. We generally ship orders out on Mondays thru Thursdays as we do not like to let an order sit somewhere over a weekend particularly during hot weather. Within this framework, we try to ship out orders the day after we have received them. This may vary some depending on the volume of orders and Susan’s schedule with shows. We will do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.
Q. How long does a bar of soap last?
A. Most of our customer tell us their bars last about a month with pretty much everyday use. Some bars may last a bit less or more than that, but that is a good rule of thumb.
Q. What do you mean by all-natural? Is that the same thing as organic?
A. By all-natural, we mean that we use no artificial fragrances, preservatives or colorants. We also use no animal fats and do no animal testing. All-natural is not the same thing as organic. For something to be “properly” labeled organic, it should have been grown or raised with no artificial fertilizers or pesticides, etc. For our products to be organic then all of our ingredients would have to be organic. That would limit the ingredients we would be able to use in our products, even the essential oils that we use to create our scents. In addition, our costs and therefore our pricing structure would definitely be impacted.
Q. Is your soap lye soap?
A. Yes, it is. Making soap with lye or sodium hydroxide is the traditional way of making soap that has been around for many years. Lye is an integral part of the soap making process. It reacts with the oils to create soap. When the bar of soap has been properly made and cured there is no “loose lye” remaining. It has been turned into soap!
