Susan’s Soaps & More was invited to decorate a tree for the Junior Friends of the Dallas Arboretum Christmas Gala and Silent Auction. I decided to decorate our tree with an assortment of our Snowmen soaps, lip balms and lotion bars. Our tree was displayed along with about 20 others, including an entry from Barney’s of New York and Stanley Korshak. The gala was held at the DeGolyer House on the grounds of the Dallas Arboretum last Friday evening. Jerry and I attended and it was a fun “date” night for us. The setting was beautiful and included delicious food and even a hot chocolate bar. Yum!! (I confess I had two mugs full.)
If you haven’t ever been to the Dallas Arboretum I took a few pictures around the DeGolyer House that morning when setting up. I also took some pictures of our tree and a few others during set up. Unfortunately, I didn’t think I would be able to really get pictures of the trees with the lights on. I know I mention in the video that I will be taking them that evening but the lights were so bright and the rest of the room so dark that I just didn’t think it would work. I hope you enjoy the ones I did get.
